Thrive Academy opened in Debre Birhan, Ethiopia in September 2014.  Many of the children of this area were considered the poorest of the poor which meant they had to choose between an education or food.  The school was established to provide education, daily meals, medical care and as many hugs and kisses as they needed. There are now 305 students enrolled and they are becoming leaders in their community. These children are not just merely surviving, they are now "THRIVING"!
